About Me

-------CHECK US OUT AT FACEBOOK.COM/LITTLEHCROCHET ------- My darling daughter, Little h, has inspired many projects. I design and make custom crochet and paper products for babies and children. I also do some for adults, you just have to ask. Because all of my items are custom made, I have no stock inventory. When you request an item from Little h, it is made lovingly with you in mind. Each item is a work of its own, and while there may be others like it, nothing will ever be exactly the same. Check out my Just Photos page. To request an item, simply email me at littlehcustomdesigns@gmail.com and ask about it or see my Order Form page. You can be as specific or as vague as you like. Don't be afraid to request something you don't see on my blog; I love to try out new things and I can most likely make whatever you want. If I can't, I can point you in the direction of someone who can. I also share my projects with other crafters- I publish some of my original patterns here (check out my Patterns page) as well as on ravelry.com. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Check out my pages for additional info.

Little h Ear Flap Hat- The Pattern!

Little h Ear Flap Hat

Perfect for all little ones! It's warm enough to wear out for errands and cute enough to wear anywhere. Sew on my flower applique or any one you like. It also looks great just by itself. The dino applique pictured is a pattern from Robyn Chachula from the book, Baby Blueprint Crochet. The large rosette is by Lion Brand and can be found here for free. More photos of this hat can be found in my earlier post, Hats.

  3. I am new to crochet and love this pattern. I am confused at row 6-9. what do you mean (10, 10, 11, 11)?

  4. The numbers in parenthesis refer to the different sizes. For instance for the row you are on: it is row 6 for every size, but the second number (the one that tells you how many rows to do) is different. For NB, it is rows 6-9. For 3 mos and 6 mos, it is rows 6-10. For 12 mos and 18 mos, it is rows 6-11.

You can also refer to this sentence at the start of the pattern: "Size NB with sizes (3mos, 6mos, 12mos, and 18mos) in parenthesis."

This is a common way to write a pattern for multiple sizes- some find it easiest to print the pattern and circle all the rows/sts that apply to the size they're making.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.

  5. You must have kids with some pretty big heads, because the one year old size fits me.
